JOB SUMMARYThe Associate Software Developer plays a key role in delivering and supporting our product integrations and services. This individual works within cross-functional teams alongside product managers, software engineers, and QA analysts to implement, maintain, and support integration features that enable customers to seamlessly connect and exchange enterprise data across our solutions. The role requires hands-on involvement in troubleshooting, operational support, and continuous improvement of integration workflows, in addition to feature development. The ideal candidate has working knowledge of software technologies such as Java, SQL and iPaaS frameworks, and brings strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Clear communication and a customer-support mindset are essential for collaborating with internal teams and ensuring reliable, high-quality integration experiences for our customers.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesYou will be required to be flexible in this role and undertake any such duties assigned to you by the Company. Such duties may fall outside the remit of your normal working duties.Primary Duties and Responsibilities• Become an expert in all VelocityEHS Integrations CoE offerings and solutions• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager of Software Development and the VP ofTechnology• Provide L1/L2 technical support for applications and integrations, including monitoring, incidenttriage, and issue resolution• Analyze and troubleshoot data issues using SQL queries and logs• Operate and maintain standard support tools (ticketing systems, monitoring dashboards, jobschedulers)• Support file-based and API-based integrations by validating data, rerunning jobs, and identifyingfailures• Communicate clearly with internal teams and customers regarding incidents, status updates, andresolutions• Follow documented runbooks and contribute to improving support documentation and knowledge base• Work closely with global development, QA, and operations teams in an Agile/Scrum environment• Escalate complex issues to engineering teams with clear analysis and reproduction steps• Completing delegated tasks, maintaining strict adherence to product roadmap schedule• Updating Manager and teammates with necessary information to achieve end goals• Maintaining software development processesWe welcome and encourage diversity in the workplace.
