Our client a leading food distribution company based in Co Cork is currently recruiting for a Transport Supervisor The key responsibilities for this position are: Dealing with Irish and International transport companies Liaising with our domestic and Ecommerce customers Managing all inbound and outbound freight requirements Leading the Linehaul team throughout our transport network and managing KPIs with administration staff. Manage linehaul loading team and ensure vehicles run to schedule Responsible for all employee engagements annual leave, disciplinaries, appraisals etc. Required Experience: Have an excellent level of spoken and written English Previous Experience working in a Transport/Warehouse/Logistics environment A professional qualification in transport / supply chain/logistics is desirable. Understanding of RSA regulations. Proficient on Microsoft office and relevant transport / fleet management systems Excellent timekeeper Safety Awareness Knowledge of and surrounding areas would be an advantage. Past logistics experience would be an advantage Problem Solver and People Management experience
