We are seeking a motivated and organised individual to join our clients Fundraising Team. Working closely with the Fundraising Team Lead, you will support local volunteer fundraising Branches across the Eastern region with their events, administration, recruitment, and development. This role is key to helping achieve ambitious fundraising targets while ensuring volunteers feel supported, valued, and equipped for success.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, structured, and a natural communicator with strong people management and customer service skills. Flexibility is essential, as travel and occasional evening or weekend work will be required to attend events and Branch meetings.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with volunteer Branches, providing responsive support.
2. Assist Branches with administration, social media, and communications.
3. Support the planning and delivery of fundraising events, campaigns, and projects.
4. Recruit, train, and develop volunteers to strengthen Branch activity.
5. Research and develop new fundraising opportunities with Branches and local stakeholders.
6. Ensure best practice is followed and accurate fundraising data is recorded.
7. Take ownership of income targets and Branch performance within the region.
8. Track and report on activity using in-house systems.
Person Specification
9. Proven experience in fundraising, sales, or business development.
10. Ability to achieve targets and build lasting community relationships.
11. Knowledge of donor/volunteer management systems (CRM) desirable.
12. Strong project planning, organisational, and reporting skills.
13. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
14. Comfortable with cold-calling and engaging new supporters.
15. Knowledge of volunteering trends in Ireland is an advantage.
16. Experience working with corporate partners desirable.
Special Conditions
17. Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
18. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
19. Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
