We're looking for a commercially savvy and experienced Sales and Distribution Lead to spearhead the design, configuration, and rollout of our SAP Cloud ERP system.
This is a pivotal role in ensuring seamless order management, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer experience across our pharmaceutical distribution network.
Location: Based at our Headquarters in Loughrea, Co.
Galway.
As our Sales and Distribution Lead, your responsibilities will be as follows:
Sales and Distribution Strategy & Governance
Establish and uphold governance frameworks, policies, and stewardship models across all SD domains, including pricing, rebates, order fulfilment, and returns.
SAP ERP Implementation
Lead the SD workstream within the SAP S/4HANA Cloud ERP programme, following an "Adopt not Adapt" methodology.
Collaborate with SAP consultants, commercial teams, and technical stakeholders to define pricing models, order types, delivery processes, and integration points.
Customer Order Management & Compliance
Ensure order management processes comply with GDP and GxP regulations.
Oversee order booking, ATP (Available-to-Promise) configuration, delivery scheduling, and returns processing.
Implement controls for audit trails, electronic signatures, and customer master data integrity.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the primary liaison between commercial, regulatory, and IT teams for all SD-related matters.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote process ownership and regulatory compliance.
Operational Excellence
Monitor and report on order fulfilment KPIs, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide SD insights to support finance, logistics, and customer service teams in optimising operations.

Skills & Competencies:
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or SAP Cloud ERP in regulated pharma or CDMO environments.
Ability to define and enforce customer master data standards, validation rules, and stewardship models.
Experience with pricing accuracy, rebate tracking, and order traceability.
Experience supporting Computer System Validation (CSV) and audit readiness.
Proven ability to define and enforce data standards and governance models.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
3 + years' experience in a sales and distribution manufacturing environment.
Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Degree in Pharma, IT, or related field preferred, but not essential; advanced qualifications in data science, statistics, or management are a plus.
SAP certification or data governance credentials preferred.
Experience with AI/ML tools for pricing optimisation and order analytics.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English.
