Project Manager Job Summary
You will oversee BIM processes across multiple large-scale projects, ensuring design information is accurate, aligned, and ready for construction.
1. BIM Process Development: Develop and implement BIM processes and standards for new projects, aligning with industry best practices.
2. Design Coordination: Coordinate with design and construction teams to ensure models are accurate, aligned, and up to required levels of detail, minimizing errors and discrepancies.
3. BIM Execution Plan Management: Support the creation and management of BIM execution plans and digital workflows, streamlining project delivery and reducing costs.
4. Design Health and Clash Detection: Lead design coordination sessions, track issues, and highlight risks early, ensuring timely resolution and project progress.
5. Model Review and Quality Assurance: Help manage model reviews, clash detection routines, and design-health reporting, maintaining high-quality deliverables.
6. Tender Evaluation and Supply Chain Alignment: Assist with technical assessments, tender-stage evaluations, and supply chain alignment, ensuring seamless project execution.
7. Digital Construction Planning: Contribute to 4D scheduling and digital construction planning, enhancing project visibility and control.
8. As-Built Models and Digital Handover: Support the creation of as-built models and digital handover documentation, facilitating smooth project closure.
Requirements
* A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in a BIM-related project management or coordination role, with a strong understanding of digital design processes within construction or engineering.
* Ability to interpret models, identify risks, and guide stakeholders through digital workflows, showcasing excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Proven experience working with multidisciplinary teams and large-scale projects, demonstrating a proactive approach and strong problem-solving abilities.
