Head of Placements at Generation UK & Ireland: Connecting Employers with Ambitious, Diverse Graduates

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role involves matching opportunities with Employer Partners to Generation Learners, reporting to the Head of Placements for Generation UK & Ireland. It is ideal for someone passionate about supporting people from diverse backgrounds into employment and inspiring employers. The role includes hands-on recruitment, relationship management, and understanding organizational needs across the UK.
Your main focus will be enabling learners to secure employment through Generation vacancies and self-initiated opportunities, by understanding employer requirements and matching them with suitable candidates. You will work closely with the Senior Strategic Account Manager to build long-lasting employer relationships and position Generation as their preferred talent sourcing partner.
You will also inspire learners, support interview preparation, and assist with onboarding into new roles.
RESPONSIBILITIES & TARGETS
Targets within the role include:
* Placement Target: To place Generation graduates into roles through both self-placement and Generation-sourced vacancies.
* Conversion Target: To successfully fill Generation-sourced vacancies.
Main responsibilities:
1. Graduate Management
* Provide high-quality career advice via 1-2-1 sessions and workshops.
* Maintain high engagement levels of graduates.
* Understand graduates' skills and preferences to match them with opportunities.
* Support event organization connecting employers and graduates.
* Prepare learners for opportunities, including mock interviews and feedback.
* Promote job opportunities via Microsoft Teams.
* Track job retention and collect success stories.
* Offer pastoral support to graduates.
