Position: Manufacturing Engineer I
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and implement permanent solutions to manufacturing issues using structured problem-solving. Document and share knowledge effectively.
* Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives by applying Lean/Six Sigma principles.
* Ensure compliance with highly regulated environments, maintaining high product quality through GMP, NCR, CAPA, etc.
* Optimize production flow for quality at source, rapid inspection feedback, and meet product specifications and inspection standards.
* Lead validation activities for processes and equipment.
* Analyze operational performance using OEE metrics and implement improvements to increase capability, capacity, and stability.
* Design jigs and fixtures to meet manufacturing requirements, reduce changeover times, and facilitate maintenance.
* Assess new equipment, processes, or chemicals for environmental impact in collaboration with EHS.
Qualifications
* Experience with validation techniques (IQ/OQ/PQ), regulatory requirements, and data analysis.
* Motivated, flexible, results-oriented with excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage complex projects with strict deadlines using project management tools (PMBOK).
* Team player with leadership qualities; capable of guiding and mentoring technicians.
* NFQ Level 8 in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or Biomedical Engineering, with at least two years of relevant experience.
* Project Management and Six Sigma certifications are advantageous.
* Experience in Problem Solving, Process Improvement, Data Analysis, and Project Management is highly desirable.
