Area Sales Manager – New Business (Field Sales)
Location: Cavan, Monaghan, Louth
Salary: €45,000 base + uncapped commission (Realistic OTE €80,000+)
Reporting to: Country Manager

We are expanding our field sales team in Ireland and are looking for ambitious new‑business professionals who want strong earning potential, clear progression, and ownership of their territory.
Requirements
New Business Focus
This is a fully field‑based new‑business sales role. It is not a remote or account‑management position.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, target, and win new B2B customers within your territory
Generate leads through cold outreach, local networking, and business visits
Attend a combination of self‑generated and pre‑arranged appointments
Conduct in‑person sales meetings with business owners and decision‑makers
Present tailored payment solutions aligned to customer needs
Handle objections confidently and close deals
Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities
Consistently meet or exceed agreed sales targets
Accurately manage activity and pipeline reporting
What Success Looks Like
Consistent achievement of monthly and quarterly targets
Strong levels of self‑generated new business
High conversion rates from meetings to customers
Growth in territory revenue and personal earnings
About You
Experience
Proven success in B2B field sales
Track record of generating your own leads and closing new business
Experience working in a target‑driven environment
Skills & Attributes
Strong new‑business mindset
Resilient and self‑motivated
Confident communicator who builds rapport quickly
Highly organised and able to manage your own schedule
Comfortable working independently
Requirements
Full driving licence valid in Ireland
Willingness to travel daily within territory
Field sales in payments background
