With a growing portfolio of residential developments, they are seeking a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping the success of two major residential/apartment schemes in Limerick City.Role OverviewAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial responsibility for two large-scale residential/apartment development sites. You will manage all aspects of cost control, procurement, and financial reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCost Management: Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost plans throughout the project lifecycle.Tendering & Procurement: Lead tender processes, evaluate bids, and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.Contract Administration: Manage contracts, variations, and claims in line with company and client requirements.Financial Reporting: Produce accurate monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts for senior management.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate commercial risks to protect project profitability.Stakeholder Liaison: Build strong relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.Team Leadership: Mentor junior QS staff and contribute to the development of the commercial team.RequirementsDegree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.Minimum 7+ years’ experience in a QS role, ideally with a main contractor.Strong knowledge of Irish construction contracts and regulations.Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.For more information on this position please call Allan Daly on 0863889426 or apply online and a member of the Ward Personnel team will be in touch.
