This role combines hands-on website management with large-scale product setup across both BigCommerce and Shopify. A significant portion of the role involves adding, updating and maintaining products with a high level of accuracy, ensuring that pricing, variants, imagery and integrations function correctly across international markets.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Marketing and eCommerce Manager to ensure both websites remain commercially effective, accurate and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
Product Setup and Catalogue Management
* Add new products to both BigCommerce and Shopify with complete and accurate data
* Configure variants including size, colour and other attributes
* Set pricing across currencies and markets where required
* Upload and optimise product imagery to meet brand standards
* Ensure correct categorisation, filters and product visibility
* Update product descriptions, specifications and attributes
* Process bulk updates when required, including pricing and availability changes
* Ensure consistency between platforms and with Linnworks data
Integration with Linnworks
* Maintain accurate product mapping between Linnworks and both websites
* Ensure inventory and order data synchronises correctly
* Identify and resolve discrepancies between systems
* Support ongoing catalogue rationalisation and cleanup work
Website Maintenance and Support
* Maintain stability and usability across both platforms
* Manage app installations, configuration and updates
* Support promotional changes such as homepage banners, featured collections and category updates
* Implement content changes requested by Marketing or Trading teams
* Monitor site functionality and report issues promptly
Frontend Updates and Technical Changes
* Make code-level adjustments using BigCommerce Stencil and Shopify Liquid where required
* Resolve layout, styling or usability issues
* Ensure responsive performance across mobile, tablet and desktop
* Support ongoing improvements to customer experience
Imagery and Content Preparation
* Source, crop, edit and optimise product images
* Prepare promotional visuals for use across the websites
* Maintain consistent visual presentation across categories and collections
User Access and Platform Administration
* Manage user permissions for internal teams and external partners
* Support configuration of settings across both platforms
* Assist with testing before new features or updates go live
KPIs
* Product listings are accurate and complete on first upload
* New products added within agreed timelines
* Pricing and variant setup errors kept to a minimum
* Inventory sync operates correctly with Linnworks
* Website content updates completed promptly
* Site usability and performance maintained across both platforms
Required Skills and Experience
* Experience managing products on Shopify and/or BigCommerce
* Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
* Experience working with large product catalogues
* Familiarity with inventory systems such as Linnworks or similar
* Proficiency in HTML and CSS (JavaScript and Liquid advantageous)
* Experience editing images using Photoshop, Canva or similar tools
* Understanding of eCommerce merchandising and customer journey
