Category Manager
Deliver ambitious results and market share growth by executing local & European strategies for relevant categories in the business.
Responsibilities:
* Own category performance across sales, margin, units, traffic and market share.
* Expand customer offering through sourcing, negotiation and commercialization of existing and new products via existing supply chains.
* Negotiate annual agreements with key suppliers for category execution.
* Focus on managing and developing relationships with suppliers to drive mutual value.
* Lead category development using data-driven approaches and aim to increase market share.
* Owning local BU strategy execution is a key requirement.
* Implement planogram, floorplan, sourcing/supply chain, training and execution in all areas of strategies, merchandising, tactics and projects for convenience categories with stakeholders.
* Research, develop and pilot new ideas and innovations for local category growth aligned with improving the customer journey and deliver factual insights on results.
* Adopt yearly EU category/market plans.
* Develop annual promotional plans with data-led insights, supplier collaboration, marketing support and retail execution.
* Enhance customer experience through end-to-end execution methods supporting the customer journey.
* Develop local category/marketing plans at a BU market level following European processes, structures and timing; align and secure this category plan with relevant stakeholders and support planning, implementation and ongoing execution.
* Report base results, plans and initiatives to Irish leadership demonstrating success.
