Full right to work in Ireland is required (Stamp 4 / EU citizen).Role And ResponsibilitiesThe role of the Data Analyst is to assist in the analysis of various policy and regulatory issues relevant to The Company's role and to support The Company's various business functions in developing best practice in the areas of responsibility within IT. The Data Analyst will be reporting to the Head of IT and support.Given the nature of the role in analysing policy and regulatory issues, a specific focus will also be on the management, processing and analysis of data and in supporting the wider organisation in adopting best practice in these activities through a defined Data Strategy framework. The Data Analyst will support the Head of IT in this regard. The Analyst may be involved in specific key projects led by the IT Department and other projects relating to The Company's activities.The principal areas of responsibility include:Create and advise on the creation of key dashboards to support the organisation's goals.Plan and implement data projects, including advice on the best visualization of data for the desired output.Contribute to organisation-level data-related issues through cross-divisional projects and meetings led by the Head of IT.Drive data-led storytelling in the organisation.Support and assist other business teams in developing analysis, dashboards and analytical capabilities for regulatory decision making.Ensure processes for data collection, validation, analysis and reporting align with the Company's data standards and policies.Qualifications & Experience – EssentialData visualization and reporting: proficiency in BI tools (Power BI preferred).Ability to create dashboards and reports and to communicate insights effectively.Ability to perform statistical analysis, data validation and data monitoring (using simple scripts for data processing and automation).Ability to use APIs for data integration and reporting.Strong statistical and analytical skills with ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.Appreciation for Machine Learning concepts and awareness of AI applications.Ability to work with and collaborate within and across divisions.Experience in storytelling with data.Proven experience in supporting project delivery, both individually and in a team.Familiar with data governance and security compliance processes.Experience in data analysis processes based on organisation standards and policies.Experience in telecommunications or similarly regulated industry (governmental, consultancy or corporate).Presentation skills and strong engagement skills.Notes: The description above may reference role-specific directives (e.g., regulatory compliance) and does not include non-job-related content or site-wide notices.
