Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to support the protection of systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor systems, networks, and security tools for potential security threats and incidents.
* Investigate, analyse, and respond to security alerts and incidents.
* Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security controls and technologies.
* Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation activities.
* Support compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain documentation related to security incidents, procedures, and controls.
* Stay up to date with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
* Collaborate with IT and business teams to promote security awareness and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Basic understanding of network security, operating systems, and common cyber threats.
* Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, endpoint protection, or vulnerability scanners is a plus.
* Knowledge of security standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) is advantageous.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CEH) are an advantage but not essential.
