This is a 1-year maternity cover.Your new roleAs VP, HR, you will lead the HR function for the business, partnering with the President to ensure the organisation has the right strategy, structure & people alignment to meet business goals.Key responsibilities include:Strategic Leadership, Operational Excellence & GrowthPartner with the President and senior team to translate business strategy into an integrated talent strategy that enables strategic priorities.Serve as a critical business partner to the President and CFO to support delivery of annual performance results (Sales, Operating Profit, Free Cash Flow).Act as a sounding board to leadership-pushing for results, driving growth, and challenging human capital expenditures where appropriate.Develop and execute action plans across Compensation, Talent Development, Performance Management, and Associate Relations to support profitable growth.Lead the HR components of the business strategic plan; take action on structure and people to ensure delivery.Participate in Annual Operating Plan and Vertical reviews to ensure Strategy-Structure-People alignment and track IC actions.Go to GEMBA to understand issues where work is done; ensure associates are heard and actions taken to improve the work environment.Play a key role on the global HR Council alongside HR leaders, Corporate HR, and the CHRO.Own & Lead the Intellectual Capital (IC) ProcessOwn the companies' rigorously defined Intellectual Capital (IC) process and cadence, holding managers accountable.Lead IC across the full associate life cycle: Recruitment & Onboarding, Development, Performance Management, Compensation & Recognition, and Retirement.Run quarterly IC reviews with the President; lead Annual IC Deep Dive with Corporate (covering turnover, equality metrics, talent requirements, contingent workforce, campus recruiting, critical salaried/hourly compensation and benefits, and market insights).Teach, coach, and train HR Managers and leadership on IC processes; provide continual reinforcement.Talent Acquisition & OnboardingAnticipate workforce trends; design and evaluate innovative tactics to recruit top talent.Master and reinforce the companies' interviewing process; ensure leaders execute properly to drive sound hiring decisions.Compensation, Benefits & RecognitionEnsure accurate market pricing by country; partner with Corporate Compensation and external surveys to ensure fairness.Oversee offers and salary assessments to maintain competitive, equitable practices aligned with policy and market trends.Lead incentive/bonus program design and execution to drive performance.Drive Health & Wellness plans tailored by locality and market trends; stay abreast of country-specific developments.Ensure meaningful recognition (milestones, retirements, celebrations).Performance Management & DevelopmentOversee training and quality documentation for mid-year and year-end performance assessments.Implement and facilitate site-tailored development programs aligned with company standards.Ensure appropriate actions when performance levels are not achieved or sustained.Cascade corporate programs (e.g., Culture of Equality workshops) and facilitate rich discussions with leadership.Associate Relations & ComplianceCoach managers through complex employee relations in a global context.Lead investigations into policy violations (e.g., retaliation, discrimination, harassment, info security); create plans, conduct interviews, draft findings, and communicate outcomes.Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance with employment laws and reporting across all jurisdictions.Ensure adherence toCompliance; drive timely completion of LMS training.- Lead Business Unit philanthropic efforts in line with corporate guidelines.What you'll need to succeed7-10+ years of progressive HR and People leadership experience in a global, publicly traded company (increasing scope and complexity).Experience in one or more HR Centres of Expertise (Associate Relations, Labour Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Recruiting & Onboarding, Learning & Development), plus strong generalist capability;
