Child Mental Health Specialist
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a regional service that covers North Tipperary, Limerick City and County, and County Clare.
CAMHS is a Consultant-led community-based service provided by seven multi-disciplinary teams serving East, West and Central Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary.
The population of the area is 384988 with 96266 aged 0-18. The service provides assessment diagnosis treatment for children adolescents with mental health disorders.
Our aims are to provide an integrated accessible comprehensive community-based mental health service to our client group in the Mid-West.
We treat young people presenting with mental health difficulties as close to their own communities within family environments.
