Site Engineering Position in Cork
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate site activities, including planning, organizing, and supervising construction work.
* Develop and implement site plans, schedules, and budgets, in conjunction with the Project Manager.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality standards.
* Coordinate and manage sub-contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
* Monitor and control site costs, ensuring that they are within approved budgets.
* Provide support to the Project Manager in the development and implementation of project strategies.
* Participate in regular site meetings, reporting on progress, and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements:
* Degree qualified Engineer (BSc or MEng). A Master's degree is an advantage.
* Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Construction Site Engineer, preferably with a main contractor.
* Strong Setting Out/Levels experience, reinforced concrete works experience, and building experience - Commercial/Industrial/Educational.
* Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) is an advantage.
