Job Description:
The Equipment Manager will oversee the efficient operation of departmental equipment, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal downtime. This includes managing, developing, and evaluating employees to achieve functional goals, as well as leading projects and project teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and develop employees to ensure efficient department operations.
2. Lead projects and project teams.
3. Develop and maintain tool standards and procedures.
4. Coordinate tool data analysis and present findings.
5. Track installation and site acceptance testing of new equipment.
6. Develop a system for tracking tool records and warranties.
7. Collaborate with manufacturing engineering teams to resolve equipment issues.
8. Monitor critical tool performance.
9. Investigate and implement countermeasures to prevent premature part breakdowns.
10. Respond to engineering support inquiries.
11. Research and develop emergency tool recovery plans.
