The company is committed to advancing the global transition to a net-zero emissions-built environment and is recognised worldwide for its innovation, quality, and sustainability leadership.Job PurposeTo work as part of the IKON team to test and develop new and existing products for Kingspan, whilst ensuring robust design and performance criteria are delivered.Key AccountabilitiesProject manage new product development and product improvements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, etc.) as part of the development process.Execute design, prototyping and testing activities with a focus on the maintenance of accurate documentation.Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate documentation.Suggest improvements based on test results and observations.Analyse and review test data to optimise design and product performance.Conduct research to stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies.Provide technical support to other teams and departments as needed.Work effectively in conjunction with other engineers and management.Liaise with other department functions including technical, engineering and operations.Report and present updates on project status and timelines.Ensure compliance with the requirements of ISO 37301 Clause 5 sections 5.3.4., the company handbook and Code of Conduct.Ensure site adherence to and operation of the Compliance Management System responsibilities within ISO 37301 Clause 5 sections 5.3.2.,Ensure compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001, including CE marking.Follow the appropriate EN standards and country codes for product developmentAny additional reasonable duties assigned by your line manager that align with your job responsibilities.Key Skills & ExperienceME OR BEng level 8 in Mechanical Engineering or related field.2+ years of experience in R&D or related fieldWorking Knowledge of Solid Works & AutoCADKnowledge of FEA, Ideally ANSYS.Hands on Approach to mechanical testing, building test rigs etc.EN certification & regulatory compliance knowledge.Good people and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects through to completion.Innovative, creative design ability, positive attitude and open minded.Be willing to travel when there is need.Full clean Driving licence IRL/UK/EUAbility to work safely and apply good housekeeping skills in all areas of workSend your CV to opportunities@kingspan.com
