MWP are seeking to appoint a Senior Design Civil Engineer/ Project Manager with a focus on renewable projects, to join our Civilsteam in Galway or Limerick.
The role provides exposure to a diverse range of renewable projects in Ireland and Internationally.
Working primarily on Wind Farm projects, from inception to conclusion, including Design, Independent Checking, Client Liaise, Project Management.
Role
Working with the MWP Renewables Team to ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with associated budgets.
Preparation of the design, technical reports and tender documents for Windfarm Projects.
Planning and managing design work, working closely with the MWP Engineering Design Team and Technicians.
Project Managing, medium to large windfarm projects.
Supervision and mentoring of junior staff.
Ensuring compliance with MWP’s health and safety legislation, and our quality assurance and management systems.
Coordination within the Renewables Team and the wider MWP Network.
Liaise with clients and various stakeholders.
Skills / Qualifications
Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Chartered Engineer, or working towards Chartership
Experience in the design and delivery of renewable schemes, including delivering projects in Ireland and Internationally.
Experience in the Project Management of medium to large windfarm projects.
Multi-disciplinary design management experience.
Engagement with clients, external stakeholders and sub-consultants.
Excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills
Flexible and a good team player
Works efficiently and on own initiative
Full Drivers Licence.
