We are seeking a Temporary Consultant Dermatologist to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team within the HSE Ireland. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high‑quality dermatology services in a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide consultant‑level care in general dermatology, including outpatient and inpatient services
Diagnose and manage a broad range of dermatological conditions
Participate in skin cancer clinics and minor surgical procedures
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across specialties
Contribute to service development, audit and quality improvement initiatives
Support teaching and supervision of junior medical staff
Qualifications
Registration as a specialist in Dermatology with the Irish Medical Council, or eligibility for the same
Significant experience in dermatology at consultant level (or equivalent)
Proven clinical, leadership and communication skills
Commitment to patient‑centred care and continuous professional development
Desirable Criteria
Subspecialty interest (e.g., dermatologic surgery, paediatric dermatology or skin cancer)
Experience working within the Irish healthcare system
