Hotel Sales Manager

Location: Arklow | Hybrid
This is a senior, sales-led role focused on driving revenue performance for a well-established hospitality business. The successful candidate will take ownership of hotel sales activity across rooms, corporate, groups, weddings and events, with a clear mandate to grow new business, strengthen key accounts, and maximise occupancy.
While marketing support exists internally and through external partners, this role is firmly centred on commercial sales delivery, relationship management, and revenue growth.
The Role
* Own and drive the hotel's sales strategy across all key revenue streams including corporate, leisure, groups, weddings and events
* Proactively generate new business through outbound sales activity, client meetings, networking and partnerships
* Manage and grow relationships with corporate clients, agencies, tour operators and local partners
* Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, tracking opportunities and forecasting revenue
* Work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to maximise occupancy and yield
* Represent the hotel at trade shows, showcases and industry events
* Support the delivery of group bookings, weddings and events through close collaboration with operations
* Provide leadership and direction within the sales function, maintaining high standards of client engagement and service
What We Are Looking For
* Proven hotel or hospitality sales experience is essential
* Strong background in selling rooms, corporate accounts, groups, weddings and or events
* Track record of winning new business and developing long-term client relationships
* Commercial mindset with an understanding of pricing, segmentation and revenue drivers
* Confident communicator who enjoys face-to-face sales and relationship building
* Organised, proactive and comfortable managing a varied sales pipeline
* Experience working with marketing teams or agencies is beneficial, but this is not a hands-on marketing role
