The Business Development Manager (BDM) for House Repair Claims will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the company's house repair claims services. The role requires a strategic and proactive individual to develop relationships with clients, insurance providers, contractors, and other stakeholders within the industry. The BDM will identify new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and ensure that the company’s offerings align with market needs while achieving business targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct market research to identify new opportunities within the house repair claims sector and develop strategies to expand the client base.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with insurance companies, homeowners, contractors, and property management companies.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking with industry professionals and preparing proposals for potential clients.
* Develop a sales pipeline, manage client accounts, and close deals to meet sales targets.
* Work closely with operations and repair teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and improve service offerings.
* Track sales performance and prepare regular reports on business development activities.
Key Functions
* Develop and manage a portfolio of Key Accounts.
* Achieve monthly sales targets by identifying and developing new customers.
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and maximize share of wallet within existing customers.
* Coordinate pre-sales and post-sales follow-up.
* Monitor market trends and provide regular competitor feedback.
* Generate new business by meeting potential clients to understand needs and provide relevant solutions.
* Manage the sales process to close new business opportunities.

Ideal Profile
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Insurance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within the insurance, construction, or house repair industry.
* Familiarity with the home repair claims process and insurance industry standards is a plus.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills
* Experience in insurance claims management or house repair services.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
