People are at the core of CPM's business proposition, so as a key member of the CPM team, this role is expected to make a significant contribution to the culture within CPM through demonstrable initiatives to drive best practice and continuous improvement. A winning attitude combined with a digital mindset is essential for success in this role.
The main focus of this role is to heighten awareness of the client's brands in any given location and to ensure high product visibility and quality on all products. Building in-store relationships is key to promote CPM and the client with the key contacts. To provide simple reporting through tablet and phone technology.
Requirements
The Primary Responsibilities for This Role Are:
1. Adhere to journey plans given by line manager.
2. Merchandise required products onto shelves and ensure all merchandising guidelines are followed, emphasizing planogram compliance, maximizing promotional space, and negotiating with Store Managers.
3. Record merchandising activities, audit our brands and competitor activity, and provide feedback promptly.
4. Maintain and grow planogram space where possible.
5. Ensure all products have correct SEL placed in front of the product.
6. Merchandise all promotional displays and ensure correct pricing.
7. Capture before and after photographs on a handheld device.
8. Liaise with store managers before leaving to ensure satisfaction with work completed.
9. Liaise with NSM before and after each call.
10. Deliver field insights to the National Sales Manager.
11. Build strong relationships with all parties to foster teamwork.
12. Generate new ideas and ways of working.
13. Support all product launches and promotions, developing in-store presence.
14. Maintain all CPM standards and policies.
15. Strive to reach the highest standards of performance for customers.
16. Operate efficiently to complete all tasks.
17. Undertake any other duties as instructed by your line manager.
Required Experience & Competencies:
* Full driving license is essential.
* Merchandising background is desirable but not required.
* Computer literate—ability to send photos via email and complete reports/audits.
* Ability to undertake physical activity, including lifting and moving heavy products.
