An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Quality and Environmental Coordinator in SW Connaught, reporting to the Operations Manager. The key focus areas of this role are customer satisfaction, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Main Tasks/Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
* Manage all elements of SW Connaught’s Quality and Environmental System.
* Lead quality control within the manufacturing process, analyse quality data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Inspection of outgoing product and associated paperwork.
* Point of contact for all customer queries and requests relating to Q&E.
* Responsible for investigation, closure, and recording of all internal and external Q&E issues, including communicating with interested parties.
* Collaborate across all functions to ensure effective resolution of customer complaints.
* Manage ERP transactions, i.e., returns from customers
* Host and perform audits with both regulatory bodies, customers, and suppliers.
* Identify site Q&E training needs and deliver training sessions for employees and management as required.
* Support in other duties when the business requires.
* Act as cover for other areas during holiday and absence periods
Key Competencies/Qualifications/Requirements
* BSc, BEng, and/or relevant experience
* Competent in ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards
* Capable of taking a hands-on approach in a manufacturing environment (approx. 20% of time)
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to be flexible in meeting the demands of the role.
* Comfortable working internally with all departments and also externally with customers and suppliers.
* Proficient IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and the capability to adapt to customised systems.
* Ability to coordinate multiple projects within appropriate timelines.
* A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
