EF (Education First) Dublin City University Summer School is seeking enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to join our Activities & Events Team as Activity Leaders for summer 2026.

Position Details
Full-time
6 days a week
Roles available between June – August 2026 (minimum two-week commitment)
Every day is different – from city trips, to themed parties and interactive games. You’ll play a key part in helping students feel welcome, confident and connected, while also developing your own leadership and communication skills in a fun and multicultural environment. It’s a highly rewarding role that allows you to make a real impact on students’ lives while enjoying a memorable and fulfilling summer yourself.
Responsibilities
Leads groups of international students on a variety of activities, events, ceremonies, and day trips
Creates a lively atmosphere throughout the site and during excursions, all while delivering excellent customer service
Help students break cultural barriers and build friendships by facilitating activities that get them speaking English, sharing their cultures and learning from one another
Takes responsibility for health, safety and well‑being of all students, including completing and adhering to risk assessments and emergency procedures in line with EF policy and procedures
Liaises with co‑leaders and the Activities and Events Manager to discuss how to improve future activities, events, ceremonies and day trips
Ensures the EF behaviour code is always followed by all students and informs the management immediately if there are any issues or problems
Requirements
Highly motivated, energetic and positive with a sociable and outgoing personality
Confident in leading and managing groups of students
Organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervised
Ability to handle difficult situations with ease and remain calm under pressure
Appreciation of cultural differences and sensitive to the needs of international students
A flexible approach to work and hours of work undertaken is essential
Is a trained First Aider (preferable but not essential, full training will be organised)
Experience working with 10‑17 year olds (preferable but not essential)
All offers are subject to a clear background check and two references
Right to work in Ireland on commencement of employment
