We need engineers who share this passion for sustainability and thrive in designing energy efficient buildings and communities.Our Building Services team are a source of world leading expertise and offer a pro-active and collaborative approach to skill development, and professional excellence.The RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for skilled electrical engineer to join our team at our Dublin office to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative electrical design solutions for some of the most exciting building projects in Ireland, the UK and internationally.Working across a variety of sectors including Government, Critical Systems, Healthcare, Rail, Workplace and Residential, you will work in a team of expert engineers and technicians, and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to help manage the delivery of technically-excellent, profitable projects for high profile public and private clients.You’ll have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop and with accredited professional development programmes from CIBSE and IET, you’ll be fully supported towards achieving chartership.The SkillsEducated to degree level in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng or equivalent), and having gained relevant experience within a consultancy environment (design and coordination of electrical distribution and power generation, lighting, security systems etc), you are already well versed in the use of relevant design software including Amtech and ideally, Dialux.You have proven ability in producing low energy design solutions, carrying out site inspections and surveys, detail design development, and crucially – you have a passion for creative and intuitive design.Given the collaborative and client focused nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.Job DescriptionYour career at CundallWe know that to be the best at what we do we need a diverse workforce underpinned by an inclusive culture.
