The purpose of the role is to build the business through both traditional and digital marketing tools; applicants should have a Marketing/Digital Marketing/Graphic Design qualification. The individual will be expected to bring sales and marketing ideas, instill a strong discipline in pipeline management and nurture existing customer relationships. The role requires the achievement of both business to consumer (B2C) and business to business (B2B) sales targets both in product and tourism markets. This role involves creating value offers to appeal to the market, presenting them online, and driving engagement and sales through our website and social channels - competence in creating and editing photos, banners, videos and digital media is required. Successful candidate will have excellent communications skills along with good office/organisational and communication skills and will work well on own initiative as well as part of a team. This is an office-based role with occasional travel required. The expected working hours will be Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design, development and implementation of a stimulating impactful digital sales and marketing strategy, including all aspects of online presence and social campaigns. Historic campaigns will inform and support this.
Responsible for the identification and development of new corporate, trade customers and B2C marketing channels
Provide excellent customer service, be able to communicate well with customers and suppliers; identify sales and marketing challenges and opportunities and develop strategies to improve customer experience.
Be an advocate for making 'doing business' with The Chocolate Garden of Ireland easy.
Engage with point-of-sale and stock software package as necessary for reporting and marketing information; and programmes that support the ethos of the business around sustainability, recycling etc.
Support compliance submissions to facilitate smooth operations within business.
