Sales Manager
. They specialise in providing technical solutions to a wide range of manufacturing businesses across the UK and Ireland, serving sectors such as medical device, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and general industrial manufacturing.
Role Overview
They are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead, develop, and expand their sales function within a technical, fast-growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Sales Manager will be responsible for:
* Leading and developing a high-performing sales team focused on selling technical solutions.
* Designing and delivering sales strategies to expand market presence across industrial and manufacturing sectors.
* Building strong relationships with engineering, operations, procurement, and senior leadership stakeholders.
* Working with in-house engineers to turn customer concepts into fully delivered solutions.
* Managing the tendering and quotation process from initial enquiry through to negotiation and contract completion.
* Overseeing forecasting, pipeline management, and sales budgeting.
* Representing the organisation at customer meetings, industry events, and trade exhibitions.
* Coaching and mentoring the sales team to meet and exceed commercial targets.

Experience & Skills
The Sales Manager will have the following experience and skills:
* Proven B2B sales management experience within industrial engineering, automation, or manufacturing-related sectors.
* Background in selling engineered products.
* Confident engaging with technical and senior operational stakeholders.
* Strong strategic mindset with a record of achieving sales KPIs.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Leadership experience in managing, developing, and motivating teams.
* CRM/ERP proficiency is advantageous.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing or CI principles is a plus.
