Residential Leader (Social Care Manager 1/CNM1)
Offaly Region Residential and Respite Services Office is based in Tullamore. This full-time position involves working with a dynamic team to support individuals with intellectual disabilities in achieving their life goals, aspirations, and dreams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support teams in providing exceptional care and support within residential services, ensuring the needs of individuals are prioritized at all times.
* Foster a positive and inclusive culture where individuals feel empowered and valued within their home and local community.
* Engage with the community to enhance experiences for people supported, and spearhead initiatives that promote personal growth.
* Manage resources efficiently to contribute to operational excellence and satisfaction for individuals supported.
* Communicate effectively with individuals, their families, and significant others to ensure holistic support.
* Work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to demonstrate high standards of care and support.
* Demonstrate robust knowledge of HIQA standards, statutory requirements, and responsibilities as a Person In Charge.
* Manage competing priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification appropriate to the role, such as Nursing or Social Care.
* Registration with CORU for Social Care candidates.
* Minimum 3 years supervisory/managerial experience qualifying them to take on the role of PIC within intellectual disability services.
* Completed Management Course.
* Participation in the regional On-call roster.
* Suitability as outlined above.
