Assistant Vice President - Transfer Agency (Fund Set-Up & Migration Project) 12-Month Fixed Term Contract Location: Dublin (Hybrid) Overview A leading global financial services institution is seeking an experienced Transfer Agency professional at AVP level to join its Operations function, supporting a large-scale fund migration project.
This role sits at the centre of a high-profile programme involving the migration of funds, with a strong focus on fund set-up from a Transfer Agency perspective.
You will be embedded within the project team, working across multiple workstreams and engaging regularly with senior stakeholders.
The position combines project delivery responsibilities (trackers, governance, stakeholder updates) with hands-on fund set-up execution, making it ideal for someone who is both detail-oriented and confident operating in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities Fund Set-Up & Migration Delivery Support the end-to-end set-up of funds from a TA perspective, including review of prospectuses and fund documentation Analyse fund structures and validate fund lists as part of the migration process Contribute to the successful migration of multiple within defined timelines Ensure accurate configuration of fund and investor data across TA systems Project Execution & Governance Act as a core member of the project team, attending regular working group and stakeholder calls Maintain and update project trackers, spreadsheets, and status reports Support delivery against key milestones, identifying and escalating risks where appropriate Prepare and deliver clear updates to senior stakeholders Dealing Oversight & Operations Oversee processing of subscriptions, redemptions, switches, and transfers in line with fund documentation Ensure adherence to SLAs, internal controls, and regulatory requirements Act as an escalation point for complex operational queries Stakeholder Management & Collaboration Liaise with internal teams including Legal, Product, Fund Accounting, Custody, and AML Engage with senior stakeholders across the business, providing concise and confident updates Support cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth fund launches and transitions Risk, Control & Reporting Maintain strong operational controls throughout the migration and set-up process Support audit and regulatory requests relating to TA activities Contribute to reporting, KPIs, and project governance frameworks Experience & Skills Required 5+ years' experience within Transfer Agency Operations Strong experience in Fund Set-Up / Fund Launches, ideally within a migration or change environment Solid understanding of TA processes and the fund lifecycle Experience working on projects or change initiatives within operations Confident stakeholder management skills, with ability to present updates at senior level Strong proficiency in Excel and Power Point (essential) Experience with Multifonds is a strong advantage High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Why This Role?
