Team Overview
The Commercial department is central to ensuring the financial viability and contractual success of our projects. Responsible for cost management, procurement, valuations, and contract administration, the team works closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, and clients to monitor budgets, mitigate risk, and maximise value throughout the project lifecycle. Their expertise ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with contractual obligations — safeguarding both client satisfaction and company profitability.
Role Overview
We are hiring for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to specialise within the Decarbonisation sector. On our Projects within the Decarbonisation Sector, we assume role of the Main Contractor, meaning we have control of all elements of the build; Civils, Construction, Building Fabric, Solar, M&E etc. Job Title | Senior Quantity Surveyor (Decarbonisation) Location | Dublin Hours | Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm Salary | Competitive Depending on Experience Responsible to | Head of Commercial ROI - Decarb What You'll be Doing
Responsible for ensuring the successful financial delivery of projects by controlling costs, managing variations and change orders, progressing monthly valuations, and overseeing subcontractor payments. The role involves liaising with contracts, estimating, pre-construction, and operations teams to fully understand project scope, set package allowances, review subcontractor awards, negotiate and prepare subcontract documents, and assess contract terms and supplier agreements. It also includes tracking monthly job performance and ROI reporting, attending commercial meetings, supporting Project Managers with commercial advice, and visiting sites across Ireland and the UK as required to support project delivery.
