Photoroom

Offer description

About Us
Photoroom launched in 2020 after being accepted into Y Combinator and has become the world's most popular AI photo editor over the past four years. Our goal is to create the technology allowing anyone to create studio-level product images in minutes. With over 300 million downloads and processing 5+ billion images annually, we serve both individual creators and major enterprises like Amazon, DoorDash, and Decathlon through our B2C app and B2B API solutions.
Role Summary
We’re looking for a Senior Growth Marketing builder to help Photoroom unlock new acquisition channels for our growing SMB business. This role is for a modern growth hacker who combines strong marketing instincts (distribution, messaging, demand capture) with the ability to quickly build and ship growth experiments using AI‑powered tools. You will design, build, and launch acquisition surfaces that attract new users to Photoroom. These experiments will primarily live outside the core product and are designed to capture demand, open new growth channels, and drive user acquisition at scale.
You will operate with high autonomy, moving quickly from idea → build → distribution → learning.
This is a marketing role for someone who can build, not a product role that sometimes touches growth.
Compensation & Location
Compensation: €70,000 – €90,000 + Stock‑Options/BSPCE.
Location: Work flexibly from Germany, UK, Italy, France, Ireland, Portugal or Spain, with monthly Paris office visits (fully reimbursed).
What you’ll do:

Own revenue growth targets for SMB – drive measurable revenue growth by bringing in, converting and retaining new users across paid, organic, and experimental channels, with direct accountability to monthly acquisition and conversion goals.
Find where demand lives and build assets that capture it – analyze search trends, marketplace signals, community conversations, and competitive gaps to identify potential users’ locations, then create the pages, tools, and entry points that meet them there.
Analyze the end‑to‑end user journey and launch and run high‑velocity growth experiments – design, build, and ship weekly experiments across new and existing channels (SEO, partnerships, referral loops, viral mechanics, community, content) to discover outlier growth plays and double down on what works. Expect a high‑volume experimentation pace, about 10+ experiments a month.
Create production‑ready growth assets – use AI‑powered tools (Claude, Cursor, Lovable, n8n …) to independently build and ship continuously.
Analyze, iterate, and scale winners – build dashboards and tracking to measure experiment impact end‑to‑end (from impression to paying user), share learnings with the team, and systematically scale what drives ROI.

What we’re looking for:

6+ years building or scaling growth in a high‑growth tech or AI company focused on SMB – roles such as growth, growth hacking, product growth, growth engineering, or builder roles.
Strong marketer – understand acquisition, distribution loops, messaging, and demand capture. GTM is your bread and butter, and you go from idea → distribution → experiment → learning quickly.
Strong vibe coder – independently build and ship production‑ready web experiences using modern AI coding tools. You don’t wait for developers or designers; you ship it yourself, fast.
Experiment‑obsessed and data‑driven – ran hundreds of growth experiments, know how to set up proper tracking and attribution, and make decisions based on data, not gut feelings.
Scrappy and comfortable with ambiguity – energized by figuring out what works from scratch, testing ideas that might not pan out, and iterating to a winning channel.
Autonomous with proactive transparency – operate with high ownership, move quickly from idea to execution, share plans early, keep the team informed, and communicate openly.
Bonus – experience with Shopify apps, shipping side projects, open‑source tools, or growth experiments that attracted real users.

If you think you have what it takes but don’t meet every single point above, please still apply. We’d love to chat and see if you could be a great fit.
What you might ship in your first 90 days

A free AI‑optimised SEO product description that attracts thousands of new merchants creating product visuals.
Programmatic pages for sellers (Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay) showcasing how to generate product images for specific product categories.
A micro‑tool that turns a product URL into ready‑to‑use marketing visuals (ads, social posts, listings) and drives users to Photoroom.
A lightweight integration or automation that lets sellers automatically generate product photos from their catalog.

Benefits

Work flexibly from Germany, UK, Italy, France, Ireland, Portugal or Spain.
Regular team gatherings, including in‑person onboarding in Paris (1–2 weeks), yearly company offsite, team retreats, and quarterly in‑person meetings.
