This is not a suitable role for FE1 candidates.General Debt Recovery Legal ExecutiveWe are looking for an experienced General Debt Recovery Legal Executive to join our very busy and friendly Asset & Debt Recovery Team, based in Dublin 2.Key Responsibilities:Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Managing a high-volume, fast-moving workloadTaking instructions from clientsDrafting proceedingsService of proceedingsInstructing summons servers and tracing agentsDrafting motionsBriefing counsel to include preparation of briefsDealing with incoming correspondence from agents, solicitors and defendantsLiaising with clients over court outcome and next stepsLiaising with court servicesDealing with incoming telephone calls from agents, solicitors and defendantsEnsuring safe and efficient handling of confidential dataContributing to departmental monthly targetKey Skills & Experience:The ideal candidate should have one to three years of experience working in a law firm in the area of General Debt RecoveryPrevious experience in General Debt is a mustCalm, professional and approachable mannerExcellent administration skills which demonstrate an eye for detail and an ability to organise, manage and prioritise work within a teamAbility to work on own initiative as well as being a strong team player with a desire to learnStrong IT Skills including competency in Word, Excel, Outlook, experience of case management systems (Keyhouse is an advantage) and excellent numeracy skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalPlease note that this role is for a Legal Executive, FE-1 candidates will not be consideredSalary will depend on experience.
