What You'll Do
As a
Part-Time Personal Host (Relocation Consultant)
, you will be a trusted partner to our clients and their employees, guiding them through every stage of the relocation process with a white-glove approach.
You will provide high-touch support to help them feel at home in their new city.
This role is primarily remote (70%), with the remaining 30% dedicated to in-person client support throughout the city.
You will manage your time within the company's flexible work policies to be available for your clients when they need you.
Success in this role requires deep local expertise, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping others navigate life changes.
Strong project management, calendar coordination, problem-solving abilities, and tech fluency are fundamental to delivering a seamless experience.
How You'll Do It
Develop strong relationships
with relocating employees by understanding their needs and concerns throughout the relocation process.
Provide expert guidance
on neighborhoods, transportation options, and local culture to help employees make informed decisions.
Conduct in-depth housing research
, including rental market trends, school ratings, commute times, and neighborhood suitability based on client preferences.
Offer school support
by presenting public and private options based on destination, and assist with school viewings and admissions when possible.
Assist with essential services
such as converting driver's licenses, banking setup, and other logistical requirements for a smooth transition.
Support and guide relocating employees
through local regulations in the host country, including townhall registration, obtaining social IDs, and tax registration.
Curate personalized recommendations
for social, cultural, and lifestyle activities, including restaurants, networking events, fitness centers, and family-friendly venues.
Gather and deliver customized information
by researching and utilizing Relocity's software and GSuite to create tailored client reports.
Coordinate and lead area tours
, in person or virtually, providing insights into neighborhoods, housing options, and key amenities.
Facilitate ongoing communication
with relocating employees via phone, email, video calls, or in-person meetings to address questions and provide timely updates.
Serve as the primary point of contact
throughout the relocation journey, liaising between clients, partners, and vendors for a seamless experience.
Efficiently manage multiple relocations
at various stages with strong organization and proactive follow-ups.
Handle administrative responsibilities
such as updating client records and documenting key interactions to ensure timely task completion.
Past Experience and Current Skills
Must have the legal right to work in Ireland
Must have at least 5 years of residency in
Cork
, with extensive knowledge of the local rental market, education system, and local registration processes
Must own a reliable 4-door vehicle and a valid driver's license for in-person client services, including area tours and rental searches
Able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week
Must be flexible and available to work M-F
Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Prior personal relocation or moving assistance experience is preferred but not required
Education and Technology
Bachelor or Associate's degree (or equivalent) preferred
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office, Google GSuite, and CRM systems
Must have a laptop, smartphone, and reliable internet connection
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts and operating instructions
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
