What you will enjoy doing
In this role, you will lead and manage supply from multiple global suppliers to/from global manufacturing locations maintaining target inventory levels
Manage international freight movements across ocean, air, courier, and expedited modes and optimize an annual freight spend of approximately $4 million, ensuring cost-effective decision-making
Ensure full compliance with global freight regulations, export/import requirements, and customs documentation
Manage performance of suppliers, OEM's, partner freight forwarders, customs brokers
Furthermore, you will lead strategic initiatives to optimize supply chain costs, streamline processes, enhance supplier reliability, and improve planning accuracy
Placing orders and establishing reliable and efficient supply routes for opportunities in new territories
What makes you great
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field and/or significant relevant experience in supply planning, global logistics, or international supply operations
Strong understanding of global freight compliance, customs regulations, and international trade documentation
Experience managing or influencing significant freight budgets (e.g., ~$4M annually)
Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel/Sheets and ERP/planning systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights and recommendations to management
And finally, you must have strong personal integrity and business ethics
