Job Title: Quality Operations Specialist
The quality operations specialist will support the site quality management system in compliance with all legal and customer requirements.
This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained across the organization. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing customer questionnaires and approval documentation as required.
* Overseeing the Foods Connected Specification Management system in consultation with the quality manager for the products in the assigned department.
* Coordinating the Site Finished Product Specification Register and Specification Review Process & approval in consultation with the quality manager for the products in the assigned department.
* Conducting internal audits and traceability audits as part of the site audit team.
* Performing hygiene & systems audits as per the site schedule.
* Conducting glass & perspex audits as defined on the schedule.
* Investigating complaints, responding to customers, and trending data.
* Supporting NCR investigations and monitoring the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
* Investigating quality & food safety issues as required and coordinating sampling, testing, and results evaluation for the investigation.
* Supporting HACCP implementation & management.
* Supporting all customer & regulatory audits as required.
* Attending and presenting at meetings as required.
* Providing support to the site quality operations team and deputies for colleagues on the quality & food safety team as required.
* Supporting the implementation of a positive food safety culture.
Requirements:
* Experience in a food safety & quality department in a dairy or food processing environment.
* Third-level degree in dairy /food science or equivalent.
* Strong leadership skills.
* Ability to self-manage.
* Strong communication skills.
* Keen attention to detail.
* High motivation, flexibility & the ability to work on own initiative.
Qualifications must be obtained from a recognized educational institution.
