Business Intelligence Specialist
Your new role is pivotal in advancing the Finance Transformation capabilities of a leading public sector organisation responsible for delivering essential services across Ireland.
Reporting to the Corporate Planning and Performance Senior Manager, you will contribute significantly to upgrading financial models and automating key finance processes.
The initial focus will be on refining the forecasting model, followed by work on tax and IT-related projects. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Finance and IT, playing a crucial part in the organisation's digital transformation journey.
1. Designing and debugging financial models and templates
2. Automating financial workflows using Excel (VBA/macros), Power Query, and Power BI
3. Supporting forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes
4. Facilitating stakeholder workshops and gathering requirements
5. Documenting processes and creating support guides
6. Providing mentoring and go-live support to users
