We are working with a
leading global investment bank
to hire a
Senior Software Engineer
to support the development and evolution of critical APS applications.
This role is ideal for someone with a
strong backend background
who also brings
working knowledge of modern UI technologies
.
The Role
You will join an established engineering team, playing a key role in
enhancing existing systems, building new applications, and supporting CI/CD pipelines
.
This is a hands-on role with strong involvement across the
full development lifecycle
, with a particular emphasis on
server-side engineering
.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain
backend services and applications
Contribute to the enhancement of existing platforms and
build new solutions from the ground up
Support and improve
CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
translate requirements into technical deliverables
Write
clean, high-quality code
with strong test coverage (unit + end-to-end)
Conduct
code reviews
and provide constructive feedback
Participate in
design discussions, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments
Required Experience
6+ years of software development experience
Strong backend development expertise in
Java, Node.js, or AWS-based services
Exposure to frontend technologies such as
Angular or React
Experience working with
CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
Solid understanding of
Agile development methodologies
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
