Role Overview
We are seeking a Building Energy Assessor to work with our clients in County Kerry.
As a Building Energy Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting building energy rating assessments, collecting data, and using SEAI-approved software to calculate energy performance. You will provide advisory reports, recommend efficiency improvements, ensure compliance with regulations, and communicate findings clearly to homeowners.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in County Kerry.
* You will conduct thorough on-site surveys of residential and commercial properties.
* Collect, verify, and input data into approved BER software tools.
* Analyse construction details, insulation, heating, ventilation, and renewable systems.
* Provide accurate Building Energy Rating (BER) certificates and advisory reports to clients.
* Recommend cost-effective measures to improve energy efficiency.
* Ensure compliance, accuracy, and integrity in all assessments.
* Maintain detailed records and prepare reports for quality audits.
* Liaise with contractors, architects, engineers, and homeowners.
* Stay updated on building regulations, energy standards, and SEAI guidelines.
* Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and training to retain accreditation.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Conducting site visits to inspect buildings and gather information.
2. Analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement.
3. Providing expert advice on energy efficiency measures.
4. Collaborating with stakeholders to implement recommendations.
