We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Digital Design Engineer to lead our team of digital design engineers and drive the development of innovative digital products and solutions. As a key member of our product development team, you\'ll oversee the design and development of digital products, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop and implement design strategies to improve product quality and user experience.You are a result-oriented person with a problem-solving mindset. We are data-driven and believe in the power of individuals proving their own ideas, so it is great if you have hands-on experience with high-level simulators for performance and power estimation.ResponsibilitiesLead a team of digital design engineers to develop innovative digital products and solutionsOversee the design and development of digital products, including UX, UI, and visual designCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketingDevelop and implement design strategies and processes to improve product quality and user experienceManage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project deliveryDevelop new and/or enhance existing technical systems, including software, hardware, and various productsDevelop generic and market-oriented products, ensuring they meet customer needs and market demandsEnsure developments are based on state-of-the-art research and technology, applying scientific methods for quality improvement, process optimization, and new product developmentConduct applied research to drive innovation and growth, including quality improvement, process optimization, and new business areasDevelop digital products and modules, including concept and circuit design, as well as physical implementationApply pre-silicon verification and post-silicon validation methods to ensure high-quality digital productsCollaborate with other functions, such as marketing and operations, to develop planning and strategyStay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform design decisions and drive innovationQualificationsA University Degree in Electronic or Computer EngineeringAt least 15 years of experience and knowledge of digital micro-architecture concepts as well as deep expertise in one or more focused areas (e.g., signal processing, automotive communication protocols) or mixed-signal subsystemsMinimum 3 to 4 years of experience in managing a team of designers or an Architecture teamExperience with bus interfaces like AHB/AXI interconnects would be beneficialKnowledge of Functional Safety and/or cybersecurity concepts (ISO 26262, ISO 21434)Proficiency in digital design and HDL capture (e.g., Verilog, VHDL, System Verilog)Proficiency in software programming languages (e.g., C, C++, MATLAB)Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python)Knowledge and experience with common performance benchmarks and workloadsFluency in EnglishPlease send us your CV in English.Contact: Carla AlmeidaAbout Infineon#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
