Junior Civil Engineer
Job Location: Dundalk
Sector: Civil/Consultancy
Inform3 are currently recruiting a Junior Civil Engineer to be based in Dundalk for our Civil and Structural engineering consultancy client. The client is working across a number of sectors commercial and residential building industries, the transport infrastructure industry and the legal industry.
The successful candidate will join the expanding design team working on commercial, retail, leisure, and residential projects intimber frame, structural steel and reinforced concrete.
Junior Civil Engineer Responsibilities:
* Proficient in using a range of design packages such as AutoCAD/ Revit
* Managing the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects from the concept stage through to the construction stage
* Conduct design reviews with clients / stakeholders
* Preparation of technical specifications and documents
* Working knowledge of current Eurocodes in relation to structural design
* Conduct design reviews with clients/stakeholders
* Confident in completing civil/structural designs using common materials including steel & Concrete
* Assisting with drawing queries from Estimating Department and commercial staff
Junior Civil Engineer Job Criteria:
* 1 - 3+ years’ experience in a similar position
* Relevant Degree Qualification such as Civil/ Structural Engineering
* Strong knowledge of engineering design software’s
* Working towards or hold Chartered Status
