Job Title: Store Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to lead our supermarket in Co. Clare.
* Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring efficient management of resources and effective implementation of operational policies.
* Lead and train the management team and staff to deliver exceptional standards across all departments, including sales, margin, and waste targets.
* Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure store performance and make data-driven decisions.
* Work closely with department managers to achieve business objectives and drive customer satisfaction.
* Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure high standards of merchandising, stock control, and store presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the daily activities of the store, including opening and closing procedures, staffing, and inventory management.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve store efficiency, reduce costs, and increase sales.
* Train and develop staff to meet the needs of the store and ensure excellent customer service.
* Monitor and report on store performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a retail or supermarket environment.
* Proven ability to manage store operations and deliver on KPIs.
* Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
* Commercially focused with strong analytical and financial management skills.
* Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
