Overview
We are representing a management consulting business undergoing strong growth across Ireland and Europe. The firm is looking to appoint a Client Partner to lead client relationships, develop new business, and oversee successful delivery across transformation and change programmes. This is a senior commercial and delivery leadership role requiring a balance of business generation, client stewardship, and programme sponsorship.
The Opportunity
As Client Partner, you will own a defined client portfolio with responsibility for revenue growth, account development, and delivery excellence. You will play a pivotal role in shaping client strategies, building long-term partnerships, and ensuring the success of multi-project portfolios. The role combines the entrepreneurial mindset of a business developer with the governance and rigour of a delivery leader.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead client engagement and account strategy, driving sustainable revenue growth through proactive relationship management.
* Leverage an established network of executive contacts to generate warm leads, introductions, and new consulting opportunities.
* Identify, shape, and win new programmes of work through proposal leadership and commercial negotiation.
* Sponsor major programmes and projects, ensuring governance, benefit realisation, and client satisfaction.
* Manage account P&L, ensuring profitability and delivery performance.
* Build and mentor delivery teams, fostering a high-performance culture and adherence to delivery standards.
* Represent the business at industry forums, conferences, and client events, contributing to market visibility and brand development.
Candidate Profile
* 10–15 years’ experience in consulting, client relationship, or programme delivery leadership roles.
* Demonstrable record of winning and delivering large-scale transformation or technology projects (typically £1m+).
* Proven ability to originate new opportunities via an established client and partner network.
* Strong commercial acumen: structuring, pricing, and negotiating SoWs and multi-year contracts.
* Experienced in delivery governance, risk management, and benefits realisation methodologies.
* Skilled communicator and influencer with executive-level stakeholder presence.
* Background in technology, financial services, or business change preferred.
