This is a dynamic role for someone eager to play a key part in the recruitment, management, and support of our nationwide volunteer network that cares for and raises our dogs in training.Purpose of the RoleRecruiting and managing volunteers such as Puppy Raisers and Temporary Boarders.Overseeing the rehoming process for retired or withdrawn dogs.Supporting operational administration and contributing to the organisation's strategic goals.Key ResponsibilitiesVolunteer Recruitment & ManagementLead recruitment, screening, training, and recognition of programme volunteers.Organise and attend outreach events and campaigns.Maintain contact records and manage volunteer communications.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure volunteer needs are met efficiently.Volunteer Development & SupportDevelop innovative strategies to grow and retain a national volunteer base.Capture feedback and support regional volunteer branches to strengthen community networks.Liaise regularly with volunteers and stakeholders to provide programme updates and support.Rehoming Coordination & Programme SupportManage the rehoming process for dogs exiting the programme.Screen and support prospective rehoming applicants.Ensure all activities align with internal policies and regulatory standards.Continuously update and improve standard operating procedures and online systems.Essential RequirementsA third-level qualification in business or a related field.At least 1 year of experience in a business, recruitment, or administrative role.Strong communication, multitasking, and organisational skills.A proactive, results-driven approach with a collaborative mindset.Full clean driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland/EU.Willingness to undergo Garda vetting.DesirableExperience working with puppies or in a dog care/training environment.Prior customer service and administrative experience.Ongoing professional development in a relevant area.
