Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled software professional to join our team at Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation and support of IT systems installed on our container cranes and associated products.
Main Responsibilities:
* Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
* Select, install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
* Test and maintain IT & Network hardware, including upgrades, RAM, Hard disks, RAID setup/configuration
* Provide remote support for systems in the field
* Support our SCADA system in the field, including pre-commissioning checks and factory testing
* Collaborate with the customer service team and customers through our internal BSM Jira system
* Provide support to users for system and application software setups, configurations and troubleshooting
* Develop and maintain system documentation
* Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
* Work with network and software designers to ensure system requirements are fulfilled
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience
* Able to handle multiple tasks, excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies quickly
* Experience or certification in areas such as: Windows-based environment installation, configuration and troubleshooting; security topics like Network security, Risk assessment & Management; virtualization and containerization; scripting (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python); networking (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
