About the Role
This position involves working closely with our clients, providing them with the highest level of care and support. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with their daily needs, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
* Prepare healthy meals and snacks for clients
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
* Assist clients with medication management
* Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
Qualifications and Skills Required
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
* QQI Level 5 Modules in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person (or equivalent)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to undergo Garda vetting
