Planning Lead
plays a key role in d
eveloping, coordinating, and maintaining project schedules
and
control systems
to
ensure efficient project execution.

across all project stages.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and oversee comprehensive master schedules and project control frameworks for active projects.
* Produce detailed progress updates, dashboards, and performance reports for senior leadership.
* Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and partners to review progress, assess risks, and implement timely corrective actions.
* Define and manage resource allocation and scheduling requirements throughout pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases.
* Build and maintain progress-tracking systems and performance measurement tools to ensure delivery milestones are achieved.
* Analyse schedule variances and recommend strategies to maintain or recover project timelines.
* Represent the Planning function in client, contractor, and stakeholder meetings, clearly communicating project timelines, risks, and updates.
* Contribute to account management and business development by fostering strong, long-term client partnerships.
* Take responsibility for assigned projects while supporting other planning initiatives as required.
* Ensure all planning and scheduling practices align with company standards and support continuous process improvement.
Key Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
* At least 6 years of relevant experience in construction planning or project controls, ideally within a main contracting organization.
* Proven track record on complex, large-scale projects — experience in data centres or advanced manufacturing environments is advantageous.
* Thorough understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and schedule management principles.
* Proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject; experience using BIM or digital planning tools is a strong plus.
* Strong analytical mindset with solid knowledge of programming techniques and productivity benchmarks.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of simplifying and explaining complex scheduling concepts.
* Comfortable working within strict deadlines and adapting to dynamic project conditions.
* Commercially aware, with an understanding of contracts and project management fundamentals.
