CumannLthchleasGael is Irelands leading sporting and culturalorganisationwith membership approaching one million people andin excess of500,000 playing participants at all levels. Inspired by its amateur status and supported by the voluntary efforts of all its members, the GAA devotes its entire resources to the development of Gaelic Games and Culture nationally and in local communities.

Role Overview
The Operations and Events Executive will support the planning, coordination and safe delivery of match day, concerts and other events in the stadium. Reporting to the Head of Stadium Operations and Events, the role will involve working under the supervision of the Stadium Event Controller and Stadium Safety Officer and liaising with a number of both internal and external stakeholders and specifically match day volunteer stewards. The role will also involve working on various projects within the wider Operations Department and in areas such as Health and Safety, facilities and sustainability.

Responsibilities Shall Include (but Are Not Limited To)
Event Operations & Match Day Delivery

* Act as anEvent Control Liaison,assistingthe EventControllerinliaisingwithemergency services, stadium management, and relevant stakeholders during events.
* Support the safe and efficient delivery of match days and events, ensuring operational plans are followed and issues are escalated appropriately.
* Serve asEvent Day Assistant Safety Liaison,assistingthe Stadium Safety Officer in implementing relevant Health and Safety requirements.

Staffing & Volunteer Coordination

* Coordinatematch day casualstaffincluding scheduling, briefings, on-the-day supervision, and post-event follow-up.
* Act as the primary point of contact forVoluntary Stewardsincludingrecruitment, communication, training coordination,vettingand match day deployment.

Administration & Departmental Support

* Provide comprehensiveadministrative supportto the Operations Department, including record keeping, reporting, rota management,datacollectionand documentation.
* Assistwith operational planning documentation, event schedules, and post-event reviews.

Go Games and Activity Days

* CoordinateGo Games and Activity Days, liaising with county boards, clubs, volunteers, and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery.
* Supportlogistics, staffingandscheduling.

Media, Pitchside & Stakeholder Liaison

* Act asMedia andPitchsideLiaisonon event days, supporting access control, accreditation, and coordination between media, officials, and operations staff.
* Liaise with internal departments and external partners to ensure pitch-side and media operations align with event protocols.

Special Events & Projects

* Assistin the planning and delivery ofspecial eventsand non-match day activitiesat Croke Park.
* Support ad-hoc operational projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the Operations Department.

Essential Criteria

* Athird-level qualification in Event Management, Sports Management, Hospitality Management, orrelateddiscipline.
* Previousevent management experience, ideally within large-scale events, sporting venues, festivals, or stadium operations.
* Experience working in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments, with the ability to respond calmly and effectively to operational challenges.
* Strongorganisationaland multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
* Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including eveningsandweekends.
* Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
