Due to continued expansion, including exciting electric and hybrid technology projects, Timoney is now looking to hire an Engineering /Technical Sales Manager to join our growing team.
The Role Based in Navan, the role will involve working within a dynamic sales environment.
The successful candidate will be expected to use their existing skill set and develop new skills to: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets Manage key accounts and identify and pursue new sales opportunities Work closely with engineering and operations teams to develop customer proposals Take a lead role in customer meetings and presentations Maintain accurate records of customer opportunities, and sales activities in Pipedrive CRMAttend major exhibitions and trade shows Review and improve existing sales processes to enable the sales team to focus on winning business for the company Support prospecting and market research initiatives as required The Person Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) or equivalent technical discipline5+ years of experience in technical sales or a similar role Experience managing international key accounts Good understanding of mechanical engineering products and specifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)Experience with CRM software is a plus Excellent communication skills with a can‑do attitude Delivery on commitments Requirement for travel Ability to work independently and operate in a team environment Must have permission to work in Ireland What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits Flexible working and leave arrangements Work‑life balance Career progression opportunities Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Sales, Management, and Strategy/Planning Industries Manufacturing and Engineering Services
