Sous Chef
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join their existing culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, demonstrate flair, creativity and skill in the kitchen and have excellent knowledge of HACCP.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef in planning, preparing, and executing menus
* Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
* Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency according to standards
* Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste
Additional Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
* Step into the Head Chef's role when required
* Manage all kitchen operations
* Contribute to menu development, including seasonal and special offerings
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
